Reiki Master Teacher

Reiki for Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers

Knowing many professionals in the massage therapy field has allowed me to understand the struggles they face daily with burnout. In addition to working in a demanding field, daily life and its stresses can easily lead to physical, mental, emotional and spiritual burnout. As a licensed massage therapist or bodyworker, you are intimately connected with your clients because of the healing work you do. This connection is beautiful but can be exhausting on many levels. Having an active massage practice is grueling on the physical body and holding space for a client who is struggling mentally,  emotionally or spiritually is tough on your whole being. Reiki offers you another menu item to generate business for your massage practice, a much-needed break from the physical demands of your profession and most importantly SELF-CARE literally at your fingertips. My goal as a teacher to other healers is to remind them to take care of themselves first. If you are whole and well, it has a ripple effect on everyone you come into contact with professionally and personally. In addition to learning how to give professional Reiki treatments for your business, I will advise you on caring for your whole self with Reiki. A Reiki class is a day for you to recharge, be cared for, and remember how to love yourself.

I am NCBTMB Certified to offer Continuing Education credits for Massage Therapists & Bodyworkers (Approved Provider #451650-11). I have had the honor of teaching a number of talented LMT's in New York, Maryland and North Carolina. I would be thrilled to join you and your colleagues at your office or clinic to begin or continue on your Reiki journey.

Classes are kept small to ensure individual attention. Please plan on one full class day (two days for Reiki III), plus three additional practice hours the following day to fulfill the required practice time for the CE's.

Stress and self-care classes are also available. CE credit is available for my new, NCBTMB approved 4-hour class using simple meditation and breathing techniques for stress relief. A self-care class like this is a great way to retreat, reconnect with your peers, and learn easy ways to decompress yourself during your work and everyday life.

Although some small travel fees may be incurred, group rates and discounts for hosting are available.
